My name is Yonathan Mesfun, founder of Juscallmeshoots LLC. I’m a creative director, filmmaker, and photographer driven by a passion for intentional storytelling through visual art. Every project I create is rooted in authenticity, emotion, and culture — with the goal of creating work that resonates beyond the image itself.
At the core of my artistry is the belief that individuality is powerful. Through my work, I hope to inspire people to embrace who they are unapologetically and recognize the beauty in the qualities that make them unique.
I’ve been featured in publications including CultureIcon TV, The Commonwealth Times,Canvas Rebel Magazine, and OkayAfrica. My work has also led to opportunities capturing and collaborating with notable artists and creatives such as Burna Boy, Summer Walker, Smino, Shy Glizzy, FnF Chop, Ricky Thompson, and Marsai Martin.
In addition to editorial and artist work, I have extensive experience shooting and co-directing campaigns and branded content for globally recognized brands including Nike, New Balance, Pandora, Ralph Lauren, Reebok, Telfar, Michael Kors, The Cut, True Religion, Arc'teryx, On, Samsung, Suno Music, CultureCon NYC, Stan for Creators, and more. My creative approach blends storytelling, culture, fashion, and music to create impactful visual experiences that resonate across audiences.
